The school council decided that they wanted a friendship bench.
A friendship bench, also known as a buddy bench, is a special place on a school playground where a child can go when they want someone to talk to or a friend to play with. Friendship benches are normally distinctively different from other seating in the school. The benches at Ysgol Meidrim were made by the pupils with the kind help of Mr Davies, Woodwork teacher from Ysgol Bro Myrddin as part of the primary-secondary BRIDGING project.
